This my beautiful boy, Oliver. The most gorgeous Snowshoe. He's a pro.
As what appears to be a usual occurrence, they tried to sell me this pretty little boy as a Ragdoll, and that's just hilarious. One, if you think a Snowshoe even looks remotely like a Ragdoll, you've got some research to do. Two, Snowshoes are rare, Ragdolls are boring, but sure, I don't mind paying for the price of a raggie (lol score).
I actually found another Snowshoe in a pet store, of course selling it as a Ragdoll, and asked the manager about it. All she could say was that "It's definitely a Ragdoll, it came from a very reliable breeder." Sure lady. A patchy, marked, short haired cat of epic nature next to a pointed fluff ball, I'm sure no one will notice.
Y'all could at least try and pull them off as a Siamese, they're from the same 'family group'.

I totally have to agree. Even as I type, my Snowshoe named Dot(due to the white dot on her forehead) is snuggled up on my chest while I lean back in my recliner. She's a lovebug of a cat. And she's very doting on kids. My sister brings my niece over often and if that little girl- who is just under eleven months old- cries, Dot is right there making sure the baby is okay.
